Hi Fi Mock Ups for Management Dash

Home Page

When designing the high fidelity mockups, we adjusted details that were outlined in the initial wireframes. There is a new powerful hierarchy to match that of the initial homepage. The size, titles and style of the shortcuts make them stand out from the unselected ones. A new 'Confirm/Save' button has been developed. The black button at the bottom of the shortcut manager has green font to indicate the positive outcome from interacting with it.

Shifts

Inspired by Google design, all tabs, like those of the Shift page, now have small drop shadows. Alongside being a smart paper white tone, this conveys to the user there is more content to explore.

Outlines now signify status of different tasks and items. A green outline notifies the user of a completed payroll for example, whilst red shows incompletion, or something that requires user action. The Shift Details pop out is inspired from the development of the mobile app. This way, the user has a familiar experience across our multi-platform service.

Pop outs are also developed for Sick Employees and Shift Swap Requests. Here, the manager can send alerts to all staff to cover a sick employee. Also they can approve, deny or take further action regarding shift swaps. Communication is seamless and simple.

The 'Add New Shift' pages have been altered. Using animation to direct our user through the process, we have been able to refine the initial page to one column. The manager can add location, and have visual confirmation of who will work each shift. The selection process of adding a new shift member then animates onto the screen as a pop out, which is now a familiar feature of our system. The manager simply selects the job role, and available employees who can work are displayed. From here, simply select the desired worker and specify their individual shift length.

Money

Again, outlines reinforce the status of jobs and items.

Payroll has been completely reinvented. The option to import that corresponding week's rota is still available. The green icons tell the user that the hours are matched against the contract hours. Any issues, that may involve underpay, sick leave, or holiday are addressed in red, and are instantly recognisable. When the drop down is pressed, the option for types of pay is available. Here the user can then either Save and Pay, or Save for later. This means they can keep on top of payroll to ensure employees are always paid on time.

Messages

'Message' content is divided into the inbox and the staff bulletin board. Both are scrollable. The manager can refine their content for their inbox, and clicking any message will open the relative thread or conversation. This means the process of replying is always the same, whether for a client, staff member or whoever. The Chat screen shows a very simple design, with microphone option for a accessible input if necessary.

With regards to the bulletin board, each post can be defined as a post or event. This means the possible responses can change, for Like/Dislike to Going/Not Going etc. The manager can pin any important bulletins for later, and there are options to send new bulletins to all other staff on their mobile application.

Staff

The staff catalogue is fairly standard. The size of EVERY staff member is the same. This brings the idea of being a team into place. Staff are ordered based on their contracted hours, to create a similar order to the payroll. Staff profiles have been given a clean design. The information is clear and separated to appropriate categories. Also a new staff profile page is provided, to show how easy it is to input new data. The job roles, for example, are simply highlighted or left faded, dependent on the training that staff member has.
