Thanks to our new guidelines, we transformed our home page for the dashboard into a design we were happy with. From here, it was simply a case of expanding the system.
The next stage was creating rough templates for each page of our dashboard system.
Image 1 is the Shifts page, which would use tabs that were scrollable horizontally, and they could use drop shadows to signify there is additional content. The rotas would feature at the top for reference, highlighting any problems in the Rota view summary.
Shortcut Manager on Image 2 offers a personalised experience making the system productive and smart. It would be a simple drag and drop selection of possible popular links based on user action.
A simple login page, like Image 3, would help users sign in or sign up to use Sage Flow.
Image 4 is a simple preview of a shift. It would include all of the information that staff members would get on their mobile phones.
Image 5 - The staff catalogue relies on strong visuals to make all staff members easily accessible for editing, or viewing their records.
Image 6 is a system developed to create new shifts. This is a possible task employers may want to use the desktop for. A mixture of inputs and visual confirmation will ensure this process is clear and simple. It would rely on staff availability and skill set to filter available staff for selection.
Image 7 is the designed layout for staff profiles. From here, we will offer options to contact staff, as well as update availability and view employee stats.
The Money Page is Image 8. A strong infographic of the month so far drives the page, and colour coded tabs help visually indicate which payrolls are complete and which are not.
Image 9 shows the message system, collating both private messages and a responsive bulletin board. Any private message will expand to a chat box enabling quick messages to the employee mobile application.
Image 10 is a potential layout for a pain-free payroll system. It is one simple list, with expandable content. However, we want to experiment with a funner, more visual payroll system.
11 is the rota preview. It will summarise hours spent, money spent and any conflicting issues. The shifts will be colour coded, and most importantly, will only ever use one updated version of the rota, with the latest shift swaps.
