From the original concept for the management application, we had a very solid base, but we just needed to focus more on the organisation of content and implicating our new brand; Sage Flow.
We liked the style from the shift app, therefore we needed to transfer it over on to the management app. Even though we did like the design, it needed some finishing touches to create a full design style. We mostly looked at colour and how to effectively use colour to create categories and sections for different sectors within the business.
Me and Dom sat together to design the main app pages so we both could get a feel for the style and then we could go away and implement on other apps. Below are the designs for the Management App.
Overall, there is a very consistent style on each page, which creates a well rounded app. The hints of the vibrant Sage Flow green helped certain items pop without being overwhelming. We tried to keep a consistent sizing on all headings and text etc, which helps to give a familiarity throughout. By boxing certain items it helps to create a 'card-like' layout where the user is more influenced to click on certain items.
As a whole, we are really happy with the outcome of the management app and feel it meets the needs that we originally proposed.
