As a follow up to the analysis of the live rota, a general survey was created to find out the exact needs of both the manager and the employees of Levi's.
It was an intentional idea to leave the staff completely up to their own devices when formulating ideas.
A simple question was posed,
"What features would you like to see, if Levi's were to develop some software for our shop? (e.g. shift swapping, wage slips etc.)"
We put those two as we already feel they would be essential to a new form of management software. It was simply to spur on any thoughts by the staff.
The response to the survey was detailed and very educational. It was a quick and easy way to find trends and desires from actual working members of a small workforce, similar to that set in the brief by Sage.
